JOINED OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
November 2020

I have been a school counselor since 2019. I started my career at Utica Community Schools working with at-risk students in an alternative school setting, then worked at Imlay City Community Schools as a high school counselor. Prior to school counseling, I worked in education as an adult education tutor working with Adult Education students and English as a Second Language learners. As a school counselor at Oxford Virtual Academy, I am aware students come from different facets of life and various traits contribute to making up the whole individual. My role is to support your students academically, social-emotionally, and with postsecondary planning, whether the student's goals are to enter the workforce, attend a 2-year or 4-year college, attend a vocational or trade school, or join the military. I look forward to supporting your student!

I have a wife and two daughters. My hobbies include spending time with my family, running, weight lifting, building LEGOS, listening to music, snowboarding, and watching movies. I also speak Vietnamese.
