During my career I have been at all levels of K-12 education: elementary, middle, and high school since 2002, in three different counties, as both a teacher and a counselor. I have enjoyed being a coach, class sponsor, school newspaper facilitator, and fine arts trip planner as well as the various committees and leadership roles in the buildings I have served. My educational philosophy is rooted in a student centered approach and I feel lucky to be part of the educational journey.
I have two children: my son Kelly is 20 and going to school to be a plumber and a daughter, Emma, who is in 8th grade. I love coffee, animals -- especially our cat, Lady -- Disney, and spending time with my family.
