Dear OVA Families,
We wanted to communicate an incident that occurred today, October 13, involving the OVA Learning Labs in the Marketplace Plaza. A fire systems test was conducted without our knowledge in a neighboring business. The fire alarm was activated and caused concern in our labs. The police and fire departments and OCS administration were contacted immediately. Although at no time was there a threat to our building and staff, we wanted to make you aware of this incident considering our current sensitivities within our community.
Moving forward, we requested advanced notification from the plaza management company and have a coordination plan in place.
