Drawing & Painting

Students will explore Drawing through the use of a variety of art tools. Pencils, colored pencils, oil pastels, pastels will be available for students to explore and learn during class. Students will learn about composition, line/shape/form, spatial relationships, perspective and the use of light to create their drawings. 

Using a variety of approaches students will explore the basic techniques and concepts of painting such as color theory, composition, color mixing, brushwork, and blending. Famous artists will be introduced and their styles explored.

*Please note some partnership groups have additional fees not covered by OVA tuition reimbursement. Please inquire with the partner for specifics.
