Additional information

We continue to focus on student well-being and ensuring all of our students are prepared for career readiness and college. This School Messenger is a reminder that Spring testing (M-Step, PSAT, SAT, and WorkKeys) is coming soon and will take place throughout April and May.

We want your child's state testing experience to be as stress-free as possible. Your positive outlook will help support your child's experience. State assessment results do not affect your student's grades in any way, but do help target support and resources to students and schools that need them most. The test results may also inform future state education programs and policies to help Michigan students catch up on learning that was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We need your help to ensure all of our students participate in state assessments.

Students: Try to get a good night’s rest and eat a healthy breakfast on the day(s) of testing. We know that tests can feel stressful. Just do your best.

Parents and Guardians are encouraged to read thememofrom Dr. Rice, Michigan State Superintendent of Education.

We thank you for your continued support in helping our students succeed in the future.

Thank you for your partnership. Have a wonderful week!

Sincerely,

OVA Administration
