January 25, OVA Student Passwords

Dear OVA Families,

Last night’s communication that had your student’s schedule attached, there was a typo in explaining the password convention for unencrypting the student schedule. The example was correct, but the communication stated “two-digit year” when it should have said “two-digit day”. We apologize for the error.
Sincerely,
OVA Operations

The communication should have read,

Dear OVA Family,

Please find the attached schedule for the Spring 2023 semester.

These schedules are password protected for added security. Upon opening the attachment, you will be prompted to enter a password. The password is the same as your (or your student's) Google password.

The combination is made up of the following student information: the first initial of the first name in uppercase, the first initial of the last name in uppercase, the name of the street in lowercase, the two-digit month of the birthdate, and the two-digit day of the birthdate.

For example, Test Student, who lives at 123 Mountain Rd and was born on January 10, 2005, would have the password TSmountain0110.

Thank you,
OVA Administration
